Who we are
Armed with an English degree, Jo began her career as an ad agency copywriter, writing for a wide range of commercial and public sector clients and a diversity of media. A few years later she went client-side, becoming an in-house copywriter for three sister market research companies and their diverse brands.
Once here, she widened her remit to marketing, eventually heading up marketing communications for the company’s UK business and, later, its global healthcare arm. Along the way, she gained a professional qualification from the CIM.
Jo left the market research world (although not entirely!) to create Freshwords, where she now works with a range of clients and a network of talented marcomms partners.
Jo has also co-founded www.freshwords-live.com (available soon), an online source of ready-made words for business communications.
